Roy Keane has explained that Jurgen Klopp looks ‘refreshed’ in Liverpool colors ahead of the new Premier League season. as he told ITV Sport.
The Premier League legend added “good luck” to the others as they attempted to hold off Manchester City or Liverpool ahead of the new season after the duo locked horns at the Community Shield on Saturday.
It was Klopp who had the biggest grin after the final whistle as not only did his side notch up a 3-1 win but summer signing Darwin Nunez came off the bench to impress and score in added time.

The Reds lost 3-0 to Strasbourg yesterday but Klopp played a much changed and young side so it’s not too worrying.
Nonetheless, Keane shared his thoughts on Klopp – who signed a new contract last season – and how stopping the Premier League’s top two players next season will be next to impossible.
“The other teams might be watching and thinking, ‘Are these two teams going to let up?’” Keane said. “Well, not with Klopp and Pep at the helm.
“The hunger and desire of both teams. You look at Klopp, he has a big smile on his face. He looks refreshed. He’s on his new contract so good luck trying to stop those teams.”
Under Klopp’s guidance, the Merseyside giants have been to three Champions League finals, winning one in Madrid, while Manchester City have won four of their last five Premier League titles.
It could be argued that the Reds yearn for that Premier League title more than anything because they would be able to win in front of their own fans.
Whilst Guardiola is desperately trying to bring this all-important European Cup into Man City’s cabinet because there is a dark cloud over the club’s heads.
Anyway, talk of quadruples, going undefeated and winning everything will be the keywords associated with both teams next season, but could anyone get excited?
